This is a tough decision to make. I first saw this car when I lived in Japan in 2000. Nissan was introducing the all new 01 Cima in Tokyo. I went to see it and I fell in love.... The shape, back up camera, voice activated navigation, 340HP and the list went on and on....

I promised myself that I would get one when I could afford it. Sure enough, I picked one up in 05 for half of the original sticker price and I have loved every minute of it.... Now. my wife and I are having our 1st child and having 4 cars just doesn't make sense... What do all you guys think??

Sell one or two of the others. The Q45 is a very safe car.

Qs have such a high depreciation rate - If you bought it for half of original price, you're going to take a serious hurt-ing when you sell it!

I agree with Brian - If you got anything else that you could sell instead, seriously consider doing so - Just about any other vehicle you own would probably recoup more of its initial purchase price, and you'd still end up with a safe, VERY nice car in your garage.

I bought my F50 because I have a Child. I felt safe in it and the rear and side sun shade is what I love. I don't like my kid sitting in hte back baking in the sun, specially when he sleeps.

This depends greatly on what your other cars are.

The F50 is a GREAT family car for many reasons. Unless yours is in rough shape and needs a lot of work, or you want to replace it with say, an '05 or 06 Q or a new M45, I suggest you keep it and get rid of something else too.

I sure like my '05 Q45. Even though it's a base model, it has almost all of the stuff that was optional on earlier ones except seat cooling, power rear sunshades, and power reclining rear seats.

I drove it a couple times this week and as usual, it was a pleasure to drive....I am going to be thinking it over the next couple weeks. If I do end up selling it, i will have some F50 bits that folks might be interested in....
