Nice. Now that is the way to start off on a forum. Insulting all owners of the previous generation. Well played.kingmiller82 wrote:Ahhh Man, maybe I am the only one in this forum who thinks the first generation M45 is Ugly, like a dead mans car.
that's what there asking for the car, doesn't mean you can't haggle with them, the guy at the dealership even said it's been there for about 6 months.Andrew224 wrote:$14K is too much for one with 62K miles... As much as I hate to say it, a pristine example of an '03 should be no more than $12K. Sorry to everyone that might not agree, the bottom has dropped out of the market in the past year.

Yes it has all that.Mark Linkous wrote:Hello,
In regards to the price, is the M equipped with the Technology/Premium Package? This would include navigation, heated/cooled seats, Homelink, Intelligent Cruise Control, etc... If so equipped, I would think 14 is reasonable such that those packages cost around 6000 dollars when new. Very few 2003's were so equipped.ML
i COULD be wrong,Mark Linkous wrote:Hello,Actually, looking at all 2003 listings near him, not a one is equipped with the Technology Package. Plenty with the Premium Package. None with Technology (Navigation, ICC).
Flicktitty, are you sure the one you are talking about has Nav? Easy to check out in pictures as the ones without it are missing the Map button. This is right below the Vehicle Information Screen. Again, when I looked 2 years ago, I could not even find a 2003 with the Technology Package.ML
i might have to look into that. i just like the price range the onne i was looking at is. but i will look around the country, i don't have a problem traveling to get it as long as it is up to par.M45Caliber wrote:Flick -- I have the heated/cooled seats, all them fancy lil' buttons on the mirror, etc. etc. -- but NO Nav-- the big screen in the dash makes people that ride in it THINK it has nav- but no.
Like most have said - I've never seen an '03 with Nav - I know they're out there; just never seen one. There were over 75 Y34's for sale in SoCal a few weeks ago -- you = Wisconsin? Time for a vacation. Fly out, buy a nice rust free car with low miles and ship it or drive it back. I saw one that had about 14K miles on it -- has to be the lowest mileage Y34 on the planet.
03's and 04's were all subject to these issues (oil consum & faulty gauges). More 03's due to the fact that more 03's were produced in 2003. They only made 04's for half the year of 2004 and then cut the Y34 off from production. Over 9000 2003's vs 2000 04's I believe.Flicktitty wrote:
Do the 04's have the same problems as the 03's? or did they fix those for 04? (oil consumption, gas gauge)
