Some opions on this thread...yes I've done the compressor maps, and overlayed turbine maps.
-The 2871r car is in a greater effeciency area for longer time than the 2876
@ 20 psi, the 2876r is in the 70% range at 4500 (then to 72 to 70 percent island to Island)
@20 psi the 2871 is in the 70% range at 4300 (then to the 72, 74 75 76 75 74 72 percent at redline)
-Their turbine effeiciency and maps are the same, so technically their turbines are equal in flow rate. Their part numbers are however different. With their similaries however, I can't see the 2876 spooling and quicker/slower than the 2871r
-FP big t28's aren't newschool, but they are cheap, and make a nice fat torquey powerband.
-Don't jump bandwagons yet until we see comparisons. I'm willing to bet that the 2871r .64 outperforms the 2876 .64

24 psi at 8k on the 2876 will put you right at the right most edge...
The 2871r is actually effecient to 23 psi (right on the line) of the map.
