m 45 of course there is no comparrison. better looking too. there is nothing on the road looking like it. any time i drive by or anybody driving by me they turning their heads.you just need to get 18 x 9.5 or 10 wide rims on the rear to complete the look.( buy lots of condoms and preper to have a lot of sex.)gud luck. p.s. i got mine in mass. for 19200 with 35k last winter no navi. no heated seats. but back on black.

Of course the obvious answer is the M45. As Caug say's, there is nothing like it on the road. I have owned a Lexus ES before, and no one looked at that. But, with my M, people cranked their heads so hard to look at it, I fear they might need a neck brace. LOL And, the price is excellent. That car was bought for close to 50K, and now they ask 21K, a few years later. That is a steal for all that you are getting. Go for it. And, as Caug say's, ladies, do like a fine car.And being one myself, I do agree.

Welcome to NICO!

As mentioned, the M45 is an excellent vehicle and certainly underpriced for the value you get. So, yes, I'd recommend it highly!

Please do read the posts here on oil consumption to understand that one issue with a certain number of these cars. Not all cars had this engine oil problem, but enough did - best to check the history of the car thoroughly.

Im also lookin into a 03 M45, i currently own a 01 I30 and was thinking maybe trade it in. hows the sound and navi on these? reason is I already got pioneer 6.5 dvd & navi in my i30 and was wondering if i should keep or try to sell. anyone got a aftermarket h/u in theirs or is there even a dash kit for them that would fit the aftermarket h/u?

I personally think the sound system isnt the greatest by any means but some may think differently.

Greetings, Auditech10 is correct in the audio system shortcomings. "No Highs No Lows Must be Bose" in a word. Then again, I have never heard a OEM system that sounds remotely good. This includes the Mark Levinson system in the Lexoyta. I am curious to hear the B&O system in the Audi A8 and R8 though. When I purchased my car I had a pretty stellar aftermarket system in my previous car. To say I was tempted was an understatement. That being said, unless you find a top notch installer, having someone try to integrate or completely switch out the Bose is truly a dicey proposition. While spending big will result in a great system, I suppose it comes down to how much is too much. There are no dash kits for the 03-04's. I have the nav system and it is pretty good. It is not completely up to date in regards to P.O.I and the newer demonstrations of urban sprawl (roads). I would recommend getting a M45 with the tech package as long as you get the extended warranty. That is true for any M45 for that matter. As for the GS300 or M45, I suppose it comes down to what floats your boat. Obviously, the M45 is a great deal more powerful. It is also a better used car value. I ended up selling off my JL-Focal system so the temptation would go away. While I truly miss the joy of a high resolution system, the thought of someone tearing apart the interior of my beloved car was that of horror. Unless you have complete trust in your installer's ability, it could be a disaster given how integrated the Bose system is to the rest of the car.Good luck in your searchesMark

Mark, the Bang & Olufson system in the new S8 is AMAZING to say the least. We had the cars that were going to last years auto show in our dealership last January and I played around with it. Its something like an $6K option I think but if your spending 120K on the car already that is nothing. But then again, the BlOSE in the Audis since 2000 are the best BlOSE systems I have ever heard. Unfortunately, the systems in our Ms seem to be less quality than the basic system in a Cavalier. Oh well

know that after you purchase rims, tint and maybe the 3M wood kit there is nothing else to buy. Other than that is quick and agile and like the other guy said nothing like it on the road..
