What Would You Prefer...?!?!glacier wrote:Hi all,
#1 Does 07-08 Z come with paddle shift? I forgot to check today while at the dealer.
Thanks people!
Correct, no paddles on the current Z. A lotta American sports car purists feel the paddle shifts take much the fun out of the driving experience. Although the Z is a traditional stick shift, it has very good pedal positions for heel/toe.glacier wrote:Well, it's easier to shift with paddles so I wouldn't have to take my hand off the steering wheel, but that is indeed not as fun a shifting sticks.
So I take it paddle shifting is not available on the Z?
Thats cool, i think the 06 is 300hp. But its like 260 torque. The early models(03 and 04) that are not the Rev Up motor have 287hp and 274 torque. Some have had both, or driven both. They say the one with more torque is funner to drive and actually seems a bit faster all around. Also if you buy one of the older ones and add a plenum spacer or a plenum ( roughly $300), there is your 300hp and you have even more torque, which you started with 274, not 260. Plus an older model (like an 04) can still be financed for 5 years like the 06 but is cheaper in price because of the year difference. Just think about it.glacier wrote:07s are all gone, and 08 whites are available only after 3 month, in Vancouver.
So I am now looking at a white 06 manual.
So I take it 06 is SINGLE intake, not dual intake?
07-08 has 306HP, and this is not part of the package, car comes with 306HP with or without options.
