Im looking for a used G35 right now but im not sure the differences between the years and what years would be the best to choose from. Im looking at an 03 with brembos 6mt with an intake and some other minor things but i wanna get one from a year that would be the "best" Any opinions or if anyone could point me to an existing thread i may have missed that would be great

Welcome over to the G side!

There are 14254647573463527378484848383 threads on this if you do a quick search..but I'll give you cliff notes.

Buy the newest you can afford.

Assuming you want the coupe...
I would stay away from buying a modded G ...that just my opinion.
05+ is a good start...this is the general consensus
Brembos are $$$$ to replace and have LOTS of brakedust they were on 03 and 04..
04's seem to have a headunit problem, unless you go aftermarket who cares..
05+ are more refined and have the Rev up engine, this is more power and better engine all around, however, there are some people that experience an oil consumption problem. I had an 05 and 07 and never once experienced it.

Hope that helps!!
