Thinking of buying 2002 q45

I got my eye on this 2002 q45 with 119k miles on it, It at the infiniti dealership in my area. I need to know how will do you think I will get for my 1997 q45 with 233k on it, Also the 2002 q45 do anybody know of the good & the bad of this car.

P.S. it's going for $9,785 loaded

Check out the infinitihelp website for more information about the '02 Q45. Keep in mind the '02 is the first model year of the last gen Q, so it will have some bugs that may be costly to repair. Hopefully, the previous owners of the Q you want to buy addresses all the major issues. Have the dealership pull the car's service history.

A car with 100k is worth 10% of new MSRP so yours might be worth 5% so $2500 +-.

Who would purchase a 233k 12 year old car that cost $2000 to keep as new per year before something serious breaks?

Any used car for sale needs $3,000 in minimum in restoration after the new tires, battery, and detailing.

In 2002 when my Q was 12 years old and had 230k, I faced the same problem. I rode it out for 7 more years currently at 323k.

I.m always surprised when someone asks how much a 12 yr old car w/ 233,000 miles is worth.As Q45tech says.......maybe 2k.......maybe.Its over on mileage by 7k per year. Max miles should be 180k. now if it had 133,000 miles.....maybe it's worth 4k....maybe.
