Im looking at an 07 2.5 Altima CVT. Price is $12695, is CPO with 3.5 years left on the warranty, and has 51k miles on it.
They offered me the CPO wrap warranty for $1840, and trying to decide if its worth it. It was just inspected and passed CPO, so nothing should be wrong now, and with there only being 3.5 years till the warranty expires, doesnt seem like good value. Anyone know of any high failure rate things that it would cover to make it worth it?
Getting it added in the loan brings me up almost $30 a month.
The car has decent dealer all weather tires. About 70-80% tread. I live in NE Ohio, and this winter hasnt been the best. Figures when I drove it, the streets were clean. Any comments on how it would do in snowy/ice conditions, and if I should factor in a set of snow tires or not? If so, any suggestions for good ones for this car, around $500?
Anything else I should look out for? The CVT sounded kind of louder then I think it should be, but Ive never driven any besides a 2010 Rogue. It was loud as well, but not nearly as noticeable.
And lastly, can anyone comment on how good or bad the sound insolation is? I plan on putting in much better speakers/stereo.
