THINKING OF A EXHAUST!

so i was thinking putting a aftermarket exhaust on my truck but im afraid that its going to sound too ricey since i got a four banger.
what do you guys think?
or better yet what do you guys have done to your exhaust?

If you go to a good exhaust shop they should be able to put something together that you like.

the nissan four bangers are known for being a tad less ricey to begin with... but a custom job will ensure you get what you want

i have headers, and a full custom job leading into a magnaflow XL muffler... i love it... nice and deep

2.25" piping seems to be what everyone agrees on for the 2.4L engines.

The ricey sounds comes from muffler and resonator, you can replace it with stock style muffler and it will be quiet, or use the cantaloupe shooter and sound ricey. For cost aluminized pipe and a decent free flow muffler and get better performance and sound stock.

I just put a flowmaster 40 and new cat on mine (150k miles).
Sounds nice, not very loud. Constant throttle at 45 and its
quiet as stock. Get on it and its louder.
Seems to run much better. Gas mpg went up by 2 mpg.
