Was under the car, first noticed a bolt that anchors the front diff to the engine was completely gone and then noticed the bell housing cover seems to be gone as well....

So my flex plate and everything is semi exposed and I've had this car for like two years...

I don't have the funds or resources to drop everything needed to fix this but also HOW does this happen???

Best guess is the engine was dropped or swapped at some point and not everything made it back where it belonged

Guess I need to sell this POS

it's a 2011 m37x, trying to find the bellhousing dust cover part if anyone can guide me in the right direction that'd be awesome, i might be able to get it in place, it's the bolt missing from the front diff/engine interface that I don't see myself being able to do on my own (as I took it to the shop that did my power steering replacement, i thought they may have removed it during that process but they said they wouldn't have and want $500 in labor to drop the rack and pinion to access the hole)

I think you're looking for a 30417-JK20A, but go here and plug in your VIN, then plug that part number into the search bar and take a look at your specific diagram:

Thanks you're awesome. I am a little confused though because the part being shown after I plug in my VIN and enter the part number seems to be in the correct location but unless the crude picture shown is off I don't think it will fit, even the concept z option looks too rectangular and that bend doesn't seem like it will interface with what's going on with my car BUT while looking at that part for other m models the same part for the m56 awd seems to be more in line with the dimensions and contours I'm seeing on my car. Straight up, no bend, and narrowing at the top

probably gonna have to take it to a dealer for confirmation
