Thinking about trading my M45 for IS-F or M3 what do you think?

Well I drove by the lexus dealer today and test drove a IS-F and then i test drove a 09 M3 and was thinking about trading in my 07 M45 but I'm really not sure what do you think?

I've had M since July 07 so I think it's about time I trade I usually don't like to stay in cars for over two years. And I would take a lost but not that big about 5k. Also which one of the 2 cars I mention do u think would be a better buy? just looking for opinions

The M is a real 4 door sports sedan for day to day use. The M3 and IS-F are 2 passenger coupes for the under 6ft crowd, with extra doors and a fake back seat for small kids. I don't see a comparison. If those meet your needs at least take a look at the G as its roomier in that class. I think it would be hard to live with an M3 or IS-F as an only car.

I had the urge for a sports car and decided to keep the M and buy a toy for weekend use.

Not the same in the looks class, but a much better deal in my opinion is the CS-V. What a beast. Out of the two options you gave, I think the Lexus is a much more rare car and looks great with the Lexus reliability.

I would have to agree on that one. Why not sell it. When you trade cars you loose from not being patient. Your choice though. But this is coming from a person that has never bought a new car before but Ive always payed for my cars with cash though and Im debt free but the house.

i think its a hard decision because all the spoiled little girls are getting the is250 so it makes it look like a girls car although the is-f really is a great car but i would personally go japanese over german

me personaly i much rather have a 2009 nissan gtr white with stone interior . that car is sick in that combo.over the m3 and is-f.

I hated the IS. Hair kept brushing the roofline. Driver leg space is cramped - fine if you are use the accelerator, but if you turn on cruise and want to shift around during a long trip, you're boned.

M is a beast of a car but unless you are going to a track, what's the point? Cupholders are in a screwed up spot, the gadgets you get with a Japanese car will cost you a fortune if they are even available and BMWs get homesick for the repair shop a lot.

The IS looks feminine because of it's design, it doesn't have masculine lines. It looks like a girl should be driving it. It looks petite and delicate.
