thinking about trading cars.

well i ran into a guy the other day w/ a 98 black 240sx se, 5speed, lsd. its only got 40k miles on it. it is in perfect condition, not one scratch. its all stock. he wants to get rid of it and said he wants $10k for it but would probably take $9k. i really want the car. the only way i can get it is if i sell my car for at least $7k which i can do. if i do i will take everything off it, turbo/exhaust/everything and put it all back to stock. then i will slap everything on the 98. i just dont know if its worth the trouble. plus i would be lossing about $2k. btw: mine has 85k miles on it now, and its in perfect condition. the main reason i really want it is because of the low miles and the 98 front end. the only thing i dont like is that its black. so what do you all think i should do?

I would if you have the means.... i think 45k miles is worth the $2k

plus it kinda sucks to switch to a car thats in a color you dont like.

daniel, buy the black '98, and swap all the the stuff over on it. but i still dont think it could beat dan hyatt's civic. lolz......p.s, u wanna buy my S13?

That is exactly what I would do. Its only 40k miles difference. Keep what you have and convert it.
