i like them.
I like them better than the funky stillen color.
combination of slotted/drilled rotors with or without stainless steel brakelines wil give you improved stopping power over OEM setup (even more WITH the stainless steel brakelines!BlackNWhite wrote:Will these give you greater stopping power or is it purely for looks?
yes, but cheaper is not always better... also, for both front and rear OEm replacements, $300 shipped is not a bad price at all... even stillen's cost more!Altima_Coupe wrote:you have my approval.. looks better than the stillen gold..although i think you may be able to find replacement oem for cheaper..
you're right .. I meant to do new poll... anyway, got these from heremarlin29311 wrote:lol, there is no poll!!!!
I like them though - I agree with you, the weird brassy colored rotors from stillen are annoying...i wish they were the normal silvery color.
Where are you getting these from? I remember hearing that Rotora had made some new rotors...am i looking at this picture right (correct me if I am wrong) the one on the left is the front and the one on the right is the back? If so, how can you get a vented disc in on the rear if you don't change the way the caliper is set up?
Either way, I approve

I'm thinking about replacing my factory OEM rotors with these... I would love the Stillen ones, but I can't stand that fugly gold colored zinc coating that they use...anyway, here they are
GOOD CATCH! i missed that!Alien_Tracker wrote:The rotors shown are dimpled, not cross drilled. That could account for the lower cost.
Gold on whels/rims/rotors looks ridiculous IMO... doesn;t match 99% of the color schemesmcheddadi wrote:
I like the nice gold color, what you got against it? plus its only a coating that goes away like the rust on the rotors goes away after using the brakes.
No, the rotors in the auction for $255 are drilled and slotted, not dimpled... the picture I posted was just for visual cues on what they will look like... here's the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...38119Alien_Tracker wrote:The rotors shown are dimpled, not cross drilled. you get a vented disc in the rear by making it alot smaller than the one in the front.marlin29311 wrote:am i looking at this picture right (correct me if I am wrong) the one on the left is the front and the one on the right is the back? these areoem specs regarding size, not sure about weightCali 2 Balti G wrote:Do you know how much the aftermarket rotors weigh compared to stock? Whats the material made of - I'm guessing the stocks are steel??
The relative weight of the rotor can either increase or decrease unsprung weight on your car. A larger diameter rotor can also increase weight just like heavier rims.
I'm not defending their "mine is better than theirs" way of advertising, but on ebay, there are a lot of items that "look" the same, and I think they were trying to state why theirs is superior... they just went about it in an over the top fashiondldjros69 wrote:I check out the site and the more i read the more i want to go with stillen. I know i am getting a great product from stillen. The ebay site just blabs about the quality vs others. Stillen doesnt have to play that game.
If the stillen gold wears off, im getting them.
