So, Right now I have an Apexi AX53b70p25 on My RB20. The Car Made 320WHP 286TQ with that turbo around 16psi. I was looking around and Found what is basically a garrett Disco Potato Turbo with T3 Housing For 700 bucks. I know this turbo will spool a lot quicker, but am I really limiting my overall power potential going to a GT28r 60 trim turbo?? Reliability is a big concern, so not looking for over 350whp. Just looking for knowledgable opinions. I know the GT28rs turbo is T2 flange, so this setup is not true 28rs, I am trying to get more info on this turbo, as soon as i do, I will post.

why the turbo change...the turbo you have now appears to be a fantastic match to the engine.are you looking for a lower spool time?cams would be an option if so without sacrificing the total setup.i would never backstep to a t2 based turbo since you already have a good unit now.
