Hey whats up? Im thinking about getting an S13 hatch and converting it to a Sileighty and Swapping in the almighty Rb26dett. But Im having some thoughts about swapping in the Rb26. Im aware of how much it is to get parts for the Rb series.

But Im also thinking of swapping in a 2jz-gte or an Rb25det.

Can somone help me by telling me the pros and cons of these motors?

Thanks alot.

wtf? push back firewall?

no.

get a 240 first, then ask questions

as far as the rb26... iirc, you'll need custom motormounts / crossmember or something like that...

2jz, the exhaust side is on the passenger side as opposed to all the other rwd nissan engines (driverside), you'll need custom piping/ exhausts, as well as custom -whatever holds it down

nah... if thats the case, it would be hella hella expensive to do that custom firewall stuff. It wouldnt be a bad idea tho...

weld s14 did that with their s14 sr and custom everything else (custom air guided top mount intercooler and custom rear mounted radiator)...

the car is worth well over $100k
