Doesn't seem like a bad deal. I have one just like it. However, I must remind you that New Orleans did flood with Katrina tearing up that state. I would make sure that this car hasn't been flooded and just fixed afterwards. I haven't had any problems with my car until just recently at 95,000 miles. The only problem I have it swhen I start it it hesitates for a few seconds, but it still runs real good. I would make sure that it really hasn't been flooded out, when ou let go of the streering wheel it drives straight (check this on a straight road), no knocks in the engine or in the wheel wells when you make turns, I would also ask about any services that the car has had.Good luck.

This is also my first car, how is insurance on it?

Yeah I read that part too, but just make sure I hope he isn't lieing either. I would get a report on the car. The insurance isn't that bad. Well I have quite a bit of speeding tickets, still under 25 so my insurance is about $200 every month.
