thinking about moving back to cali and need your help

Hey whats going on i use to live in cali when i was younger and now that im older im thinking of moving back from florida... i have a s14 with a sr20det and i kno i gotta go do that smog **** but what i want to kno is how bad do the pigs **** with the 240's out there? and to give you an idea of what im running with i have a red top with 272 tomei cams built head gt30r straight cat etc.etc....(and no i dont do ricer fly byes ill get on it here and there but thats it)this is the only thing holding me back from moving and i really need to kno b/c if they gonna all in my *** im just gonna stay in florida

If something as "trivial" as having to smog a 240 w/ SR is keeping you from moving back to Cali, then you don't have a strong enough want/reason to move back.

Easiest thing to do would be sell your 240, either there or here - someone will figure out how to register it .

The amount of trouble you'll get from the LEOs has more to do with any external mods you may have. I'm sure there are some police that can hear the difference between certain turbo engines, but they are far more likely to spot an over sized exhaust, chrome rims and a huge wing.

As long as you keep things calm on the road, and invest in extra Go! instead of extra chrome, you should be fine.

dude my 240sx can F in blow up 500 times i still wouldnt think i would sell that her loli love that thing to much i would buy another car run it down then buy another and still keep my 240 lol and i miss the in and out

Just don't drive like an idiot, stay low key and watch those revs if you're loud and try not to have your BOV go off next to a cop and you should be fine.

Watch the window tint too if you have any on the driver/passenger windows.

What whereabouts where you thinking in Cali? That matters too.

yep you need to tell us where exactly you are moving to. In the boonies where I live, cops don't really know what my car is and havn't messed w/ me so far. I have a ka-t with catless exhaust, oa bov, yadda yadda.

Little things help avoid cops just to let you know like having a front license plate, not having colored bulbs, smoked tails, giant spoiler, crazy looking wheels, loud exhaust....it's self-explanatory...

well smog can kinda pass with a lil extra help of Mr.Benjamin and some people that know how to pass them. (if you know what im saying )

basically i was talkin to one of my dudes from socal and he says they just constantly hassle the imports. he drives a cobra and says the muscle guys dont really get it just the jdmers

unleass you have a noise exasust, or body kit they dont really bother. if your car looks stock then your cool

Car will be stolen, car will definetly be stolen there, a chance of stolen, but not as much as the other two, ugh. Be sure to arm your baby with a trunk monkey and all that goodness.

Ontario PD is busy enough with shootings and gangs so you should be fine, but do you want to live in that area? But, I'm mostly thinking of how ****ty the Dave and Busters at Ontario is haha.

You know, since I have all my cooling mods for my stock KA. I should just move to Vegas or work at the Pechanga as a slot tech and make bank. :P

Cali is great place weather wise for cars, but for law authority, it sucks. + the recent out breaks of 240 thefts, but it's happening mostly in..umm....what's a nice word for ghetto/ghetto'ish areas? lol
