I think it's an AWESOME idea, but I live in California where we can't legally make changes to the engine.

im thinking about supercharging it now since the engines not build and prob cant handle too much

Supercharging is cheaper, less maintenance, and imo a more enjoyable powerband.

I like the idea, supercharger might be more dependable.... Does anyone know of a quality supercharger or turbo that would fit an 06 M45S?

Stillen and HKS make some superchargers. A bit of custom work is required to get it all mounted and working, but that is basically the same for all of those systems other than mass produced kits. Any good performance shop can do the work, oddly enough there are lots in southern California (where smog laws are toughest). Some places even have modded versions they do of the HKS for more power.
