I was debating whether to put this in KA-T section or not, but I decided here was better because my actual question is somewhat not turbo related.

So what happened was that when I called Greddy and asked them why the turbo fits on 96-98 and not 95, the reason they gave me was because the computer system was different.

I asked them what I would have to do to make it fit a 95 and they told me I would have to re-tune the computer. How would one go about this and usually how much would it run??

Note: For those who care what was the status on whether itll ever become legal or not, they told me that it should pass all emmision standards and should be legalized. They told me itll be atleast half a year before they know anything though.

You have to buy the E0-1 controller or some other tuning device, and dyno tune the car...

First, ensure that your car is in fact OBD1 and not OBD2! 1995 doesent mean much.

As I've said in the KAT forum, I see no reason it wioll not work on the OBD1 S14. The MAF and the injectors are the same part. This is the crucial parts needed to make the E-Manage work. It does not tap into anything else. Given the major hard parts of both cars are the same, the tuning should be very similar or the same as far as the air/fuel tables. The timing signal should be the same as well. I speculate Greddy only lists it as a 96 and up as they may still look for CARB approval. They may not try to get the certification for the 95 model since it might be more complicated due to the OBDII transition that year.
