I was thinking about getting some Borbet Type LS Bright Silver Paint wheels that are 16x7 and was going to pair them with Falken Ziex ZE-512 (205/55R-16 91V B) Tires.

Heres the Wheels: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels...Brand

Heres the Tires:http://www.discounttiredirect....ar=55

FYI: I have a 93 Nissan 240sx (Dark Cherry Red Pearl Paint)

Egh, weak wdith and offset. They are designed for Honda applications.

Search for a 8 or 9 inch wheel with a lower offset (under +30).

Alright, thanks, but I am having trouble finding an 8 inch or 9 inch wheel. I am looking to spend only about $100-$110 per wheel, and would like to be able to put on Falken tires, if possible. Please post suggestions.

i agree with the guys above me. also, those falkens suck. for that money get the bfgoodrich Gforce sports, much better tire. or federal 595s.

Yeah bro, if you want cheap, good sized wheels you cant overlook sportmax's. Alot of people have them, but thats not necesarily a bad thing.

The 002 comes in 15x8 or 16x8 +0, which is a great fitment for any s-chassis. Heres a link to a sponsors that sells them. Theyre pretty cheap too.zerothread/193111

Honestly, those are going to be the cheapest -correct- sized wheels youre going to find that are new, in the box.

Your best bet at this point is to search for some used wheels. Start searching the classifieds, as well as these sites.rbmotoring.com/gallerytakumiproject.comwheelchoice.com

I was looking at the Sport Max 002 Old School JDM Wheels, and I was wondering what tire size would you need to fit on a 16x8 wheel. If you were wondering I am new at this.

Pretty much all Falkens are good tires but they are overkill on a street car. Unless you drive the **** out of it or track your car you can get something like Federal or the like for much cheaper. I've had Nitto, Toyo, and Cooper and those were all pretty good tires for the price.

If you get 16x8 wheels go with a 225/50 tire, I personally wouls suggest 17's because you won't have to lower your car so much to eliminate fender gap.

a weak offset is a huge no no. Regardless of your situation, or wheels you like, everyone has to conform on the offset. No exceptions. Ever.

What offset do you suggest on the wheels? Thanks for the quick responses, too. Also, I was wondering if it would be wise to get a used tire from a friend, it is a Falken FK 17x8 and has little wear, would that be alright? Thanks again..

Are you 4 lug or 5? The wheels in the link you provided are 5, but the specs are for 4??

There's some good "clearance" pricing on TireRack right now for some SSR's 17x8.5, but the offset may be a touch high (~30) for the S-chassis. Do a wheels search for wheels for an '03 350Z Base. Of course this is only helpful to 5 lug guys.

Unless you have converted to five lug, you have a 4 x 114.3 bolt pattern with a stock offset of 40mm on a 15 x 6 wheel with a TON of room for improvement.

As far as wheel choices go, Rota has come a long way in their offerings for four lug cars with regard to design, offset and overall sizing. There are snobs who poo-poo Rotas, but frankly I've never heard of anyone not being happy with them that owned them.

Here is a pic of Rota D2's on a s13:

And a link to their online catalog: http://www.rotawheels.com/p1.php

They may be a bit higher than you want to go, but something to consider. Remember, a little bit of money saved on wheels that you wind up hating is really no savings at all.

Nice wheels, GREAT price. I'll say it again though, if you have not converted to five lug hubs those wheels WILL NOT FIT.

Again, count the lugs on your wheels. Do you have four? Or do you have five? If you have four, you have a 4 x 114.3 bolt pattern and if you have five then you have a 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern.

Does that clear it up?

Yes, 17x8 with a 25mm offset would work.

We still don't know if you have 4 or 5 lug. We'll assume 4, so I'd recommend you browse the Classified forums here and find a set from another member - that way you KNOW they'll fit, and you'll stay within budget.

Unless you (or the previous owner) changed something, your 240 is a 4 lug, that means the wheels are held on by 4 bolts. So you must look for wheels that are 4 x 114.3, like the ones you originally posted.

As AZhitman recommended, check NICO's classifieds as the listers will tell you if they fit a 240 or not.

This would be a good read for you as wellhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/81407
