My daughter has a 2009 Rogue. Been a good car for the last 5 years.
I am thinking about getting my wife a 2026 Rogue.

Is there anything I should be ware of?

I'd go with a Pathfinder if you can afford to step up. The R53's have been pretty trouble free and don't drive much "bigger" than the Rogue. Case is still out on the new Muranos, but they're using the KR20 but coupled to the same 9-speed as the Pathy, so I think they'll be okay.

I thought about trading my 18 for a new one until I found that the engines are failing at record rates. I’ll keep my bulletproof 2.5 until it goes to the scrapyard. Anyone with an 18-21 needs to keep up on maintenance and wait till Nissan gets things figured out with their turbocharged lawnmower power plants.

I think a newborn would do a better job. When I lived in Jersey, I always kind of hoped the Ramapo Fault would crack and make the Hudson River about 10 miles wider. Kind of the east coast version of Lex Luthor trying to create beachfront property in Idaho (I could go for that too). Shame on Superman for getting in the way.
