^^^I don't believe in paying $25k for a 20 year old car. Unless it is extremely built! (which this one is not) or extremely rare! (this one is also not) I agree. $10k is probably a fair price, and that would still make me cringe!!! I got my 1993 Z32 for $800!!! And I got a bunch of extra parts with it! I could buy a turbo engine, swap it, put new rims, tires, a body kit, a carbon fiber hood, and giant a** turbos on it for under $10k. It would be way more badass, would be all REAL parts, and would be way faster than that Z, at less than half the asking price.
My question is, the add says "No paint work ever done", and yet it has aftermarket bumpers... What? Did they buy the car from the factory with a full body kit? It definitely isn't an SMZ (Steve Millen Edition... Also know as Stillen for those of you who are a little slower on the draw :P), so there is no way that body kit came from the factory on a U.S. Model Z32. Like you guys said about the tail lights... There are a few things that throw me just slightly, but make me wonder what else he is lying about.
Had a guy in my hometown trying to sell a 1993 non-turbo 2+2, claiming it was "built" because he put a cone filter on it. He wanted $13grand!!! Car was like 4 different colors from all the panels he had to replace, had bald tires on cheap chinese rims, and he claimed it was a "Fairlady Z Special edition". On top of the fact that the anniversary and SMZ are the only "Special editions" that aren't slicktops, The term Fairlady means that it was a Japanese model imported to the U.S., which it clearly wasn't since it was left-hand-drive. It was also an auto, which is the much less desirable of the options. This thing was a pile. I wouldn't have given $2k for it, because it was so shady the frame was probably bent, and the VIN probably didn't match.
Point is, Z32s are awesome cars!!! But they are 20 years old for gods sake!!! If you really want a turbo model, and you actually plan to drive it, find an N/A with some miles on it and swap it out for a Turbo. for $25k I could buy a nissan skyline and still have money left over for building! $25k is ridiculous.
