Thinking about buying a 240sx for a DD i need advice.

Well i already own a 300zx but its my daily driver right now which is real annoying because i really want to work on the car like rebuilding the engine or doing a tt swap but i can't since its my way to work and school. So my question is is the 240sx a reliable daily driver and what should i be looking for i honestly don't know much about 240's any help is appreciated.

Mine has almost. 200,000 miles on it and runs great. If you find an unmolested one they usually run well. But like any car things can to go wrong.

mine has 250,596 miles on the original ka24e, the only thing that has been done is regular maintenance and a head rebuild at 221,000 miles, as long as u treat them good and and maintain them well they can go forever, mine still starts 1/4 key turn and doesn't smoke. I say go for it

Dude its a KA motor...... itll be good as long as you change the oil....

well ya i spent 900 dollars on a 240 that was sitting for 4 years, the guy didnt know what it was worth and a sitting car does not like 2 live again(lol) so u gotta do some good wrk b4 and hard drives , so i spent a maybe 200 dollars on oils,wires,battery, transmission oil FILTER(that was a pita 2 change) !seafoam! bearing grease, and various s*** like seat covers, nice 6.5 speakers, stereo deck, and subs i got as a handmedown from my sister

all in all a full tune up is needed b4 u can count on it for a dailey driver
