whats up new to nico this is an awsome site.....i am about to buy a 2004 g35 coupe and have heard a couple things about the brakes and road noise......is this common with these cars!!!! what should i look out for??

There's not much to "look out" for on the 04 G - THe Brembos have a tendency to squeak if they get a lot of brake dust on them, but nothing a weekly power wash won't fix.

Road noise? Certainly not a Cadillac, but that would be boring.

THe REAL noise is that gorgeous exhaust note...

Stroll through some of the posts here, read up, and let us know when you buy that G!

I almost bought an '04...the have the lakeshore slate color that the '05+ coupes don't have But I discovered that for a few thousand more, I could get an '05. I even found one with only 5k miles on it! So, unless it's a really good deal, keep an open mind on the year you get. The newer the better IMO. Hell, you may be able to get a killer deal on an '06 when the '07s come out!
