Hi how is it going, I'm new here but an old member from clublexus. I had a VIP'd GS400 on air. I got rid of the car and I'm looking into the m35 or may even take the leap back into a Lexus LS460. I did a lot of searching read a lot of info here about the M45 which scared the living heck out of me (Oil Consumption/blown motors). I really feel like Nissan should have did more for their M45 customers, but you already know...capitalism! I really wanted the power of the V8, but who wants to keep looking over the shoulder, praying that the motor holds up past 100K.

Here's the thing. I found a nice 08 sport with about 100k which i can get for about $13,500 with a Carfax clean. The problem is the interior (beige). I can gut the interior like I did with my old GS, but don't know if it makes sense. I found four in the florida area alone but all have the beige interior. I have search the country and cannot find one with this mileage or less for this price in black interior. You guys are the M pro's what do yall think.

Also i notice there isn't much aftermarket support for the 08-10 m35. Strange SMH. Maybe I should go back to lexus, confused. :gotme I just love that 2008 M35 sport bumper...so nice. I know you can't compare the two but I like both cars, just one is more expensive, and doesn't look as good until you slam it and put wheels on.

My Old GS part list:
Air Runner suspension
Accuair Auto leveling system
StopTech Front and Rear BBK (custom Powdercoated Electric Blue)
Symbolic wheels, Chrome lip, Brushed clear coated faces, and powder coated barrels (I built them my self to spec 4in lip front 5inch in the rear) (I wish I never sold these wheels)
Black sport design interior (Black wood)............ Pause!!! LOL
Custom black wood steering wheel from Japan
TTE Lip, RMM Side skirts, Rear bumper, and 3 piece spoiler.
Retrofit headlights with LS430 projector, with TL lenses
LED mirror indicators
Junction Produce Grill from Japan (You can buy a car for the price of this grill SMH)

I'm not rich, I took my time and had the car for years, and would never do this again. The good thing is I did all the work my self. If you guys want to see my old car let me know (not sure if you have to upload pics through sites like photobucket here)

Welcome.

Personally, if the LS460 is the newer body, I'd go that route. That thing is beautiful (my most favorite car I could realistically own if I didn't have some other bills). lol.

That being said, I had an 07 M35x and now have a 11 M56x and the M's are great cars...hardly any issues for either of mine. Some members just get unlucky...

Thanks for responding back. No the LS is a 460 is a 2007. If it wasn't for the the oil issue, the M45 would have been the car to a have. Yeah I haven't seen much issues with the M35.

Only issue in the M35 is the seat track breaking...surprised Infiniti hasn't recalled this yet. That's the only issue that many faced (including me). All other issues are one-off's.

Thanks bro, Anyone know what lip kit this is, looks JDM. It matches the 08 m35 bumper pretty mean. May shave the sides. Fiber or Poly?

Very few guys get Japanese parts because for the majority of us, shipping is cost prohibitive. Not sure what that lip is.
