Same car, same colour, you will love it! I got a Borla and it's pretty nice. Not obnoxiously loud, but has a nice purr.

As for the pics, upload to imgur, then paste in the link.

Haven't done it myself, but I think for our colour, it wouldn't look quite right. I think it would look great on a black or white car, but because ours is just a little off black, it might look weird.

You should definitely tint though. I would, but it's illegal where I live.

I dunno about the tails tinting on black coupes, not a fan tbh. I own a crimson black too. I have a magnaflow cat-back + K&N intake, sounds nice and deep, @4000 rpm it can get scary :chuckle:

yea i was pretty sceptical about tinting them but i was suprised how they came out they look pretty good in person.
and thats what i was afraid of with our color on plasti dipped wheels.
i think i might go with the magnaflow just cause its a little more cheaper and i havnt really found any other a.i. other than k&n so im probably gonna go with that

Magnaflow is one of the more expensive systems.. You can get the Top Speed Exhaust for half the price of the magnaflow lol.

hmmm that actually looks pretty good how many coats did you do and how has it been holding up?
i like it im sure it looks even better in person to now u just need to tint those taillights and it would be set.

and i got a quote for a magnaflow it was half the price of the borla i dont wanna go the cheapest route but i wouldnt mind saving some money.

I did 3 coats. I can't really judge how it held up because I switched wheels 1 month after owning the car. But during that month plastidip held up pretty good, didn't have to redo anything and I still have them in the garage. I don't plan on tinting the tails to tell ya the truth, I'm usually a fan of the black setup but not on our cars color. and yea magnaflow is def not a cheap route if ya ask me Lol, you'll like it.

I have the K&N Typhoon (Short Ram) and the Tanabe Axel-Back Exhaust, they sound amazing together.
I think the Tanabe is about 530ish with free shipping on Amazon. I would highly recommend them both!!

I'm running the (discontinued) Greddy spectrum elite with injen sri and it roars. But from what I've seen I could have gotten the ts pro 1 and been just as happy at a third the price.

Also... they make a magnaflow system for the 3.5? I looked at magnaflow and they didn't offer one last I checked.

I got a quote for 250$ for a 3" custom magnaflow cat-back, isnt the top speed like 600 excluding labor and shipping?

I usually stay away from custom exhaust shop fabricated stuff... I have never had good luck with them.

If you want to sound good, the Tanabe is exhaust is fantastic. Fit and finish is second to none.

If you want the most power out of your exhaust, you need a Racingline Y-pipe and a full catback. I am running the Greddy Spectrum Elite/RL Y-pipe combo. I can't imagine another setup that sounds better. I know there aren't many other setups that will yield extra power.

As for intake, I have the AEM. It is one of the best at managing heat, but pretty much any good intake is going to get you a bit of a boost in power, fuel economy at cruise, and a kick in sound at wide-open throttle.
