Greetings,Just wondering if anyone has purchased this kit. This thought came when seeing Jason's Q on his website. Of particular interest to me is the wood cover for the sunglass holder/sunroof overhead. The rest of the kit looks sick and think it might make things a bit less monochromatic. I have never contemplated aftermarket wood kits thinking they usually rank up there with those giant mufflers usually seen on 2002 primer grey Dodge Neons, and 93% of all Honda Civics over 5 years old. This kit looks great. Think it is about $400.00Also, if you had a grand of "mad money" lying around how would you spend it on our car?ThoughtsCheersMark Linkous

i originally wanted to but a wood kit as well. But the more i thought about it the less confident that i felt it would match. I think if anything you should think about the brushed aluminum kit. The combination of the exsisting wood and the aluminum is hot right now. (see S-class, 7 series, A8 etc)

The color match to the console is perfect. There were too many pieces for me, I threw some away, others I installed and later took off. If you want pictures I can email some of mine.

Cool. Out of curiosity, what did you end up tossing? The piece around the sunglass holder is what's making want to do this. Not sure about the part that covers the climate/nav. Your car looks awesome btw. Pardon my ignorance but what kind of wheels are those? Obsidian Black simply looks great on the Y34.CheersMark

The wheels are ASA ST4 with Infiniti center caps. I don't remember all the pieces but I did keep the eyeglasses cover. Watch for my emails.

Just a heads up that they are not exactly wood. THey are decals that stick on that look like wood.

Kind a cheesy looking IMO. I wish there was real wood replacements.

I bought Burtman's kit, but only ended up using the sunglass compartment and the rear a/c vent. I also ruined the driver's armrest piece. I paid $300 from Burtman and have most of it left over. If someone wants the rest of the kit, I'll let it go CHEAP. There are more than 20 pieces left. Email me at JASimone22(at)msn.com if anyone wants it. I could provide pictures this evening and an exact count of the pieces included.

I have a single piece of a "wood" kit on my dash. I'm not sure who this kit is made by (I picked it up off of ebay fairly cheap and it might be from exoticwooddash.com) but the match is exceptional. I opted not to put any other pieces on because they would have been too much and some just looked cheap.

I'm throwing together a website with some of my toys and I have a picture of the interior...
