I'm looking at the stage 2 plus from: http://www.enjukuracing.com/

I haven't heard many good thinks about them though.

Float: I saw your thread back in '04 about your problems with them. The link at the top of the page was expired though. Care to elaborate what happened? Are you still running one?

I have a puck clutch installed now, but I've already put about 10k hard miles on it and have heard they aren't designed to last that long. So while I'm doing my CA swap I think I should put a new one in. And would prefer it not be so harsh. I'm tired of chatter. I will stay near stock through this summer and will upgrade to a T28 with supporting mods in the upcoming winter. So about 350 crank is my goal. This spec clutch looks like it's up to the task. Hopefully they have cleaned up their issues by now!

I dont care what power your making dont waste your time with a stage II.

I got the stage IIII and it feels like a stock clutch, but holds lots more power/torque.

Looking at thier site sometime back though, I do recall the stage III having a higher torque rating.

Yeah it's also a puck style. I have one of those now that I 'm not too fond of. But you like yours? No chatter?

puck style...hmmm wonder if mine really is a stage IIII. Its sprung, and I dont feel any chatter, purchased it from Enjuku some time back. I'll have a better look at it tommorow compared to whatever pics they have on their website as its out right now.

it took some straight abuse this summer though, thats for sure.

Mine is a StageIII+ IIRC. 6 puck sprung hub.

Pretty streetable, though the engagement is a bit on/off, but not something you can't get used to. The only other problem I have with it is the friction point is VERY near the top of the pedal. I would say that I only really need to use maybe 50% of the pedal travel. BUT that allows for VERY quick shifts when combined with my B&M and JUN 13lb flywheel.

When this one dies, I'll probably replace it with another SPEC. I'm used to it now and it holds so well that I don't really want to change it.

I am also running a stage 3 6 puck. you can hardly tell it's a puck clutch. Sometimes when taking off in 1st you get the slightest shutter.....really slight. Totally 100% streetable. I was thinking there could be something wrong because the pedal is so light, but that's just how it is. I recommend the stage 3 as well.

The clutch I'm running now (stage 3 clutch specialties, installed by previous owner claims can handle 400ft/lbs, hard to find info about clutch specialties though) has caused a few of my shoes to cave in because the pedal is so stiff. I don't buy the greatest shoes, but this clutch gives quite a workout.

That's exactly how my clutch feels, but it's an Illegal Garage copper/kevlar. Pedal feel is light, on/off engagement near the top of the petal. It was weird at first, but easy to get used to. OEM flywheel here, just resurfaced and stepped to factory spec.

My bud has an '03 Cobra with one of those stiff clutches, and I've decided I like the light feel more. When you press his pedal, the whole seat flexes backwards like two inches lol

sounds like you need to adjust your pedal.

I am running a KAde 4puck stage 3 i love it. I had to have it rebuilt after about 10K on the motor it was pretty toasted, i had a local shop repuck it with even more aggressive material for 125$

Jon, I've adjusted it every way possible. It's just how it is. This is actually my second one as they replaced the first one under warrenty, and they were both exactly the same.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the step is wrong.
