Well I seem to take on some pretty impossible tasks, an amazingly i seem to get through them. But lately ive been considering if i should continue with my 240 project. I have a 89 coupe which ive got parts out the A$$ for just havent put them on. For one i need to put the 5spd in, 2nd put the DOHC in, 3rd silvia conversion, then bunch of other miscellanous stuff. So I dont know im really bored so I felt like posting. I dunno if I should just sell everything an get some of my money back or just keep at it?

That's why we have big bright halogen lights (or should). :pface

Keep at it though. I have a buddy who threw in the towel on his, and is already looking for another one cause he missed it.

everything worth doing is difficult. You eventually hit a wall in anything you do if it requires time. just keep going.

Hey, be fortunate, your car still runs. Try racing a Dodge for christ's sake.

I swear I almost listed every single 240 related thing I own in the B/S/T section the other week. Car projects get frustrating, its just a fact of how they go. Keep in it at least until you get SOMETHIGN done so you can have a sense of accomplishment :)

i think if you dont love having the project then you wont be really satisfied with it.

kinda like some people i met with nice cars. but they kinda did it cause its the "in" thing to do. and then they end up selling their cars and gettin a acura TL or something.

just a thought

If you have all of those parts, why aren't you excited? I can hardly sleep when I have a new part sitting in my room waiting to be put on.

I think you should definitely keep at it though. If you don't, you will go into 240 withdrawl and will whither away and never have sex again. ;(

When I feel frustrated at my projects, especially my 240, I lock myself in the garage with all the necessary parts and tools. I than proceed to get very drunk and work on my car till I pass out on the floor. It helps aleviate stress, and at the same time you get something accomplished.:bearchug On the other hand this is probably the reason that my 240 is not running yet. But it is ****s and giggles, when you look back at it.

Mr1der:

Nope, no family haulers, but I have seen an '88 turbo minivan race in the hillclimb series around here.
