As the title states Im thinkin bout doin a 90* bend in the intercooler piping right before the throttle body on my rb20 and running it down the side.... that way i dont have all that piping everywhere and maybe ill have a unnoticeable amount of quicker spool lol.... any ideas??? any reason not to???

less piping can speed up spool time for sure but a sharp 90 right before the throttle body can actually hurt performance. it can create turbulence as it enters the intake and won't flow as smoothly. depending on your power goals you most likely won't notice much until you try to push higher boost levels with a big turbo or are trying to squeeze every bit of power out of your motor

think of it like this....if you have a straight pipe and a pipe with a 90 degree bend at the end and you hook a water hose up to them...which end will the water come out of smoother and with more force and pressure?
