Im gona buy me some new rims for my 240sx hatch. Im looking into (F) 18x7.5 (R) 18x9.5I have coilovers and more to the suspension. I dont think the 7.5 up front will stick out and i also dont think that will effect my turning but im not so sure that the 9.5 rear wont stick out. If it does i will just get a widebody for the back but if i dont need to im not going to.

Think the rear will stick out?

Your wheels sticking out doesn't so much depend on width, but on offset. If you do not give us the offset, we cannot tell you.

JUST A RANDOM GUESS based on sizes given...

962's?

name the offset, i still dont think youd need to "go widebody" with a 9.5" wheel. a roll and mild pull would probably cover that.

Holy crap! how did you know they were 962's!!! Think there bad?(F) +38(R) +35

I was thinking of buying some 3 spoke advans from a guy on here but he wants the same price as the 962's and there used. not saying he wants to much, just think i would rather go new and bigger then used and smaller.

962s will fit fine. They are very common wheels amongst 240s.

lucky guess? like teddy said, they are fairly common amongst 240 owners.

i guess im just not much for aftermarket wheels that are less than 8", and the offset for the front is kinda lacking.

to each his own though. get some spacers for the front so they arent sunken.

Well i havent bought them yet. I was looking for something bigger then 7.5 but not to expensive because i have abounch of other things that are being done to the car right now. Like i said, i was looking at some used ones off of here but they are Advan Sa3 17x8+32 4x114.3 All Around. When i saw the extra in in diameter and extra inch and a half in the back i was thinking that i might want those more. I dont know what i want.......

Well if you are on a budget, having same size wheels and tires all around are your best bet. Those Advans sounds like a good deal. If you get those you might want to get a 25mm spacer for the rear to get rid of the side wheel gap.

all around same sizes is much better imho. just get the advans and save up for some good 225/45 tires
