Infiniti has had some people with my same dash rattle problem and they think it is a braket that holds in the windshield. They have to pull my windshield out and he said they would probably break it.

Poor Skyler. I have to give them kudos for being so thorough though. I sure hope they don't scratch up anything.

You want a new one anyway right? If they give you a Pilkington that is the same as Nippon Sheet Glass NSG which is the same as Infiniti just without the Infiniti logo.

What if they find a baby rattle jammed up inside the dash does that mean 'Skyler' is wanting a baby G

I don't "need" a new windshield. I didn't have any pecks or chips.

I don't ever remember seeing an Infiniti logo on my windshield

Is a baby G a Z?

Just kidding about the go get one. Not kidding about the super sexy.

yes. it was some metal clamp or i dont know what to call it that was rubbing against it. some Gs dont have it completely shaved down or whatever. so no complaints for over a year now.

I have a rattle from exhaust...taking it in for that, my free oil change and a switch that doesn't fully work for the rear drivers window (it doesn't go up automatically when you pull the switch like the rest of the windows).

roll down the window completely then hold the button to roll it up continue holding after window is fully closed/up for 10-15 seconds and enjoy.

Joe, sometimes all the windows dont get timed when it leaves the factory. hold the switch up for 10 seconds, then down 10 seconds, then up 10 seconds, it will auto-learn the full up/down feature. Same thing with the sunroof. sorry to jack this becki...

Here in Phoenix your windsheild is pitted pretty quickly from all the rocks on the freeway.

I could replace mine every year.

Hu just looked at my windows and they say NSG Nippon Sheet Glass, I thought they said Infiniti on them?

Baby G would be a G20? But a Z would be awesome.

Are you guys talking about a on-off tapping noise around the speedometer cluster?

It is an on/off tapping noise, but it is almost impossible to tell where it is coming from, hence Infiniti of Memphis having my car for 2 weeks.

It is almost like it rattled the worst when the car flexed.

I've had that happen a couple times and wondered where the hell it was coming from (other than an area around the cluster/dash). Mine does not do it all the time but the one time it drove me nuts was during a 2 hour highway trip in which some road bumps would cause it to happen but others would not. It was very odd and I have not had it looked into as it's not a daily occurrence.
