Well just got back from the welding shop and it seems that they wont weld it, they wont be reliable my 240 has been wrecked before and basically broke my front end and the moved the front tires 1 and half inches back from the front fender well i mean it all makes since now why there weren't any fender wells....Just completely pisses me off that i ether have to part out my vert or spend the time to costum weld and replace the whole damn front end, unless a body shop does it for $3000 ha like im gonna spend that cost more than the car itself, all i have to say it WTF the guys said it drove good i thought i could get it fixed ive wasted my time and money unless i can do this myself, just goes to show why the hell i hate bad drivers with fast cars.... Well im out guys ill catch u later thanks for all ur help

Can u guys tell me one thing is the Coupe front end the same as the VERT front end?

yes, they're identicle with the only exception being the added support. download the convertible supplement and see what was added to the front to increase it's strength.

LOL. Im sry, I cant help to laugh. I really dont like flaming, or whatever you call it, and im normally a pretty chill girl. But come on, what else would they be "made from" if it wasnt from a coupe they probably wouldnt be calling them "CONVERTIBLE 240's" now would they???

There was something very interesting my b/f found about the factory they sent the coupes to and damnit I cant find it now... (Im pretty sure if you google it or something you could find it, but im being to lazy right now like most ppl. )

but yeah like he said, convertibles came from coupes, they obviously had to re-inforce them a lot better.

GOOD! as long as your willing to learn! I really hate it when people run their mouths when they know nothing about their car... I have a lot to learn myself! Im learning something new about my car almost everyday, lol. Its kinda like a relationship...
