I just had the Bose radio in my 2003 G35 repaired at ShortCircuit.(Also the radio finisher Board). I am ready to put it back in the car but I can't find the ribbon cable that goes into the bottom of the finisher board. I also can't find where the other end of it goes. Would it have stayed in the car when I removed the radio and finisher or would I have sent it to ShortCircuit.... and why can't I remember????? Appreciate any help. Feeling pretty stupid right now.Dan

IF YOU INSTALLED THE RADIO IN THE BRACKET UPSIDE DOWN, THE THE RIBBON WIRE WILL NOT BE THERE ON THE BOTTOM. WHEN THE RADIO IS INSTALLED IN THE BRACKET THE RIBBON WIRE SHOULD BE ON THE BOTTOM. IT WILL PLUG IN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE CIRCUIT BOARD BEHIND THE RADIO BUTTONS. WE USED TO USE SHORT CIRCUIT AND THEY SCREWED UP MORE RADIOS THAN THEY FIXED. I REMEMBER HAVING TO SEND A RADIO FOR A G35 THREE TIMES TO SHORT CIRCUIT. REMOVING AND INSTALLING EVERY TIME. FINALLY WE STARTING USING CLARION AND HAD IT FIXED RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE REPAIR, I WOULD RECOMMEND SENDING THE RADIO THROUGH THE DEALER TO HAVE IT REPAIRED THE RIGHT WAY.
