Things you like and dislike with your Rogue

Likes:
- great on gas
- a good price for a CUV
- heated seats
- outside temperature reading
- AWD
- manual mode and paddle shift (although I rarely use it)
- illuminated mirror on the sunvisor

Dislikes:
- fuel economy reading (I like instantaneous L/100km where I can see it actually change)
- poor blind spot visibility
- no step courtesy lights on the doors
- no fuel door lock
- light and hollow door (there is no solid feel when you close the front doors; the back doors are a little better)
- the rear doors do not have the cushiony door panels like the front
- road noise(and water noise near the trunk area when you drive in the rain)
- useless AWD lock button when it unlocks at low speeds (because its already in AWD mode during standstill acceleration)
- no armrest in the rear seats
- not all the automatic window buttons are illuminated (the door lock button isnt either)
- bad trunk light position (the light should actually be IN the trunk)
- Engine doesnt have a plastic engine cover (like most cars do)
- not a lockable glove compartment
- not enough storage around the centre console
- the AUX input jack is located in a bad spot (it looks messy when I leave my AUX cable plugged in)

Hi,

Well naturally I like the mileage!

But I also like that my Rogue does EVERYTHING the 4x4's I drove for years and years without even working up a sweat! It did take me a rather long while to realize that even tho it's so cool looking, it is so capable.

That's one of the things that appealed to me - I wanted something relatively small and sleek but tough. Some of the roads I have to drive regularly are in such rough shape that off-road might be a smoother ride. One particularly bad one cost my little Saturn coupe a wheel last year.

Just thought I start a thread listing the things we like and dislike with our Nissan Rogue.

To start off, here's mine ....

LikesFuel economy - runs on 87 octane gas (came from a car which uses 92 octane fuel)AWD systemcar like drivability

DislikesFuel lid/door is not lockableNo release mechanism inside the vehicle for the rear doorWind noise at 110KPH

Other than the above dislikes, I really love my Rogue

fuel lid/door is not lockable.. i guess your not in freezing cold city, but that feature is way better than me, and doorwind noise is really normal with a hatch back style car, because of the aerodynamic characteristic
