Hey everyone, I'm currently in the process of taking my dash out to fix some electrical issues that I've been having. I was wondering, what else should I do while it's out? Things that are simple to do with it out as opposed to impossible while its installed. Thanks :bigthumb:

Im assuming he was joking lol but i would try to custom fit your own cabin filter so the interior doesn't get all dusty. Also just regular clean up lol. Just my .02!

Yeah, I figured so, lol. Custom fit a cabin filter? Is that something commonly done or do you have tips for that? It's a good idea, but I don't mind dust enough to spend a lot of cash and time on a filter. I was going to clean everything and replace all of the foam tape for anti-rattle, lol.

I am being serious. if you were to do a clean wire tuck under the hood...... Where would all the wires/relays go? Behind the dash.

I don't have the time or enough desire to do a tuck right now, lol.

Can't afford an alarm system or a new heater core. I was thinking cheap things ;)

Oh, and why doesn't NICO have a multi-quote button? Slightly annoying.

Indeed it would seem that way, lol.

My friend does all of my wiring for free with me though, so is there anything neat I could wire in there? Like a kill switch or something?

I have always wired my kill switch directly into the ecu harness. It interrupts the signal sent from the ecu to the fuel pump relay, effectively disabling the car. I wont tell you where I mount the switch but I will say you can use a pretty tiny switch.....good luck finding it!

I was going to wire it to the fuel pump relay as well. Seems like a good anti-theft device.
