tax time is coming woot woot!! lol. anyways i've done research on just about every swap possible, 2jz, 1jz, all rb series, ca18, sr20. all of those have been done and are getting more and more common. so i have been thinking about doing the vh45 swap. the only thing is i cant really find a whole lot of information on the swap itself. i've came across some information like you have notce up your hood so it will all fit. i know you must have custom headers and exhaust for clearance issues. i talked to my uncle and he is going to weld up some motor and transmission mounts. (gonna rock the auto transmission til i come across a z32 transmission) there has to be a different drive shaft ive already sorced a place that will hook it up with a custom one for 300 bucks. does anyone have a wiring diagram on how to do the wiring. or someone could explain how to do the wiring. anything else that is helpful.

There is more than enough info here on how to do it. Read all of Jerry's threads they have a lot of good info and piccies. There is also Crazytrance's and a few others.

If it was me I would just buy the kit from Mazworx, take the headache out of it...

Buying proper mounts is worth it, I think, compared to getting the angles correct, having the engine out 4-5 times getting everything adjusted, tacked up, etc...

i've come to the understand that it will be annoying as hell. but why pay 400 bucks for a set of motor mounts when i can make them for way cheaper. anything that i can fabricate myself i will. it will take more time but in the end it will save money
