Finally got my bucket on the road. Greedy PE 2 exhaust sound NICE! and it's not even loud with no cat. I have to go to the muffler shop to get my fake cat installed then it will be even quieter . When installing Mckinney mounts make sure to bang out the starter area even on a RB20. Had a wicked vibration that was scaring me till I looked. Got it all but still 10% left. LSD rear end makes for fun sideways action. No P/S sucks when getting sideways from a 2nd gear stop after going over some water. Thought my car was pretty slow with just exhaust till I raced my friends GSR on the fwy from a 3rd gear punch. Felt pretty good till I Got walked on by a Z06 lol but I knew that was going to happen. The Stock KA raidaitor sucks going bigger and going to hack the Koyo to fit my pullers. Power steering should make the car fun to drive. Car needs a paint job bad!!. Interior sucks too that needs to be redone too. Can't wait to pull all my goodies on Power Extream 2 Quiet!!!!. I think I can grow to like this car.

you dont need power steering. i drove my car without it for awhile and its just fine. i dont have it now im just not driving my car anymore. dont hack a koyo, hack the cross support and tilt it forward. its all in the lean, although i dont have my koyo in yet so i cant gaurantee itll fit? glad you like the car though, and trust me you will grow to like it.

PS is godly after you drive without it for a few months. The really heavy feel is nice on the highway and all, but for whipping around quickly on an AutoX or quick Left-Right turn at low speed on a road course is too much work and hurts my times. I forgot how nice PS was 'til my car got robbed and pillaged and I had to borrow the parental's car. Turning with one hand again is lovely.

Oh, and random Q for anyone who wishes to reply--my car is obviously faster at partial throttle than at WOT. ANy guesses? I was thinking leaky IC piping but all my clamps are about as tight as they'll go without me fuxing them.

Not going to hack to Koyo. Goin to hack the car to make it work. I will see if tilting it forward will do the trick.

Could be running too rich. Getting too much knock maybe? Is the car cold or warm when this happens?

Doesn't matter, it "feels" like it is enriching at either WOT or above 10psi, whichever comes first. The power just flattens....it's quick, just not fast enough 'cuz I know if everything were up to snuff, it'd be considerably quicker.

A lot of times cars run more lean at part throttle, especially the RB20 I'd say, mine is the same way..

Probably leaking boost like you said. Go buy a PVC pipe End cap with a 3" outer diameter. Drill a hole it in and throw a valve stem from a tire in it. Take off your air filter and put that contraption in its place. Clap it down and fill it with like 15 psi of air. You will hear the leaks loud and clear. You must look beyond the IC pipe to find all leaks. PCV valve seems to be a popular one.
