Things i need to do before pushing my 240??

ok i just recently got a 1990 240sx wit sohc ka...engine runs fine...but besides tune up and all that what else do i need to do before i can push it...its auto right now aswell but i wanna switch it to manual what are the things i need to do the conversion..what year transmission should i get to make the conversion easier if there is such a thing...

You need a KA manual transmission, Clutch disk, pressure plate, flywheel, clutch pedal, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, clutch lines, some brake fluid, a m/t driveshaft, and the interior panel for the shifter.

i'm pretty sure you'll also need a new ecu i've had friends that did a conversion and the auto ecu prevented him from starting the car
