Thieves SUCK!

Went to Dallas this weekend. Everything was great till we got up Monday morning to drive home (8 hour drive) and some a-hole had busted out our truck window and stolen my DVD player and DVDs. What is wrong with people?? We were 11:00 getting the window fixed and on the road. Bad ending to a good trip.

One good thing...I left the charger and the cable you plug the DVD player into a TV at home. I always do that because it makes the case heavy and bulky. Stupid jerks.

Perhaps you should have driven a pimpala and they probabiy would have left it alone?
Never leave any toys visable in an unattended vehicle.
That is the first thing every car owner in the New York area learns.
As the economy gets worse so will incidents like these.

Gosh H...If we had had a Pimpala they would have probably taken the whole vehicle.



I'm not really upset that much about the DVD player. It was outdated and I'm getting an iPad for Christmas (if I'm a good girl) so I really probably wouldn't have used it all after that. It made for a boring drive home. I think I'm more pissed that the got my Pretty Woman, Hangover, Click and Eddie and the Cruisers 1 & 2 DVDs. Oh well...I'm sure I can find those on Amazon used fairly cheap.

My hubby had a little clip with a few ones in it he uses to tip the dry cleaners. His casino cards were in the middle of the bills. I bet those morons thought they had gotten some credit cards. I would have liked to have seen their faces when they realized what they were.

On my last big road trip with my family, I had one of those portable DVD players. If we left the truck for more than 5 min, it and the hand-held GPS were packed up. I trust no one...

If they had taken the whole vehicle your insurance would cover it.
I can't imagine anyone wanting a pimpala. I hated the one I drove.

Perhaps in the not too distant future all devices will come with a RFID chip or MAC address that can be remotely disabled or even GPS traced by the manufacturer and or police in case of theft.

That is EXACTLY what my husband and I decided. We weren't hurt and they didn't damage anything in the truck but the window. As much as we travel we are lucky we don't have more like that happen to us.
