Police released a surveillance image of a suspect after a senior's vehicle was stolen from Market Mall. (Calgary Police Service)

Police are looking for a Calgary man who pushed an 80-year-old woman out of the way to steal her car.

The victim got out of her parked car in a lot at Market Mall on March 12 to help her 84-year-old friend load items into the trunk, said police on Wednesday.

The 80-year-old walked around the back of the car, where the man grabbed her, pushed her away, and then drove off in the vehicle.

The victim was not hurt.

Police are looking for a white man, about 30 years old, with a shaved head. He is five feet, eight inches tall, and was wearing a black leather jacket on the day of the attack.

The car was later found abandoned a week later in a parking lot near Crowchild Trail and 53rd Street N.W.

In PA the seniors are too senile to shoot attackers. They are more apt to shoot their speedometers for moving too much.

I've never heard of a Spanish guy living in Calgary.

It's redneck central.
