thicker head gasket

I just bought an r32 skyline t28 turbo and wanted to know if Im going to run more than 13psi what thickness is recommend for more boost I believe that the stock head gasket is .8mm thick and alot of companies make 1.1mm,1.3mm,1.5mm's when I put the new turbo on I also will do 256 hks cams,rocker arm stoppers,550cc injectors, arp headstuds,300zx maf and a rom tunemy goal whp is 350

so what thickness would you recommend

Stock is 1.1mm I would go with the 1.2mm.That sould be perfect.

stock thickness is fine. jsut use arp head bolts/ metal gasket and you can still run 15+ psi no problem. ca18boy is running around 20psi i believe and is still on the stock carbon headgasket.

ok so I dont need to go to a thicker headgasket but is there any benefit or con in going thicker

You can run higher boost.But with 350hp you sould be fine with the stock size headgasket,Just get a metal one.The stock carbon paper gasket isnt the best for high boost.

Stock head gasket should be good to 18/20 psi if its not leaking. metal head better but not necessary below 20. Head studs not needed below 20 on street car...

if ur gonna take the head apart for head studs might as well change the headgasket too get 1.2mm they work, of ur gonna boost get the head gasket and head studs they r a must
