no check engine lights, I just had a coolant pressure check for gasket leaks, so I'm assuming/guessing its a pre cat failure...I'm about to change my headers to a catless 4-2-1...and see how it goes from there...but any advice would help..and I dont think it's burning oil coz it's white smoke..

i believe white smoke = coolant
have a compression test done, i'd guess a bad head gasket. keep an eye on coolant level and oil as well.

and if the precat is the problem, a header wont do much good, just keep it from getting worse.

I'm with Spec_V03........... normally white smoke is HG problem but for your sake I hope I'm wrong!!! Check your coolant as suggested above.

I had coolant pressure checked done,no leaks, coolant still at the same level, with the oil,it definitely burns a lot of it,i refilled it with 2 quarts I'll go see if it'll dry up again on normal driving...last oil change was last month and I didn't even use the car all thru May.I'm too scared to drive my car since I don't want it to cause more damage....but yah, out of 10 people that I've told about this problem they've said head gasket...

also check to make sure your butterfly screws are still in place in the intake manifold.

Is it white smoke or blueish grey smoke?
Have you had a compression test done?
