:ylsuper ok went to the dealership today to get the handle part for my sunroof. the previous owner didn't know how to take care of his **** so my handle is broke beyond repair. after standing at the desk for a couple of minutes the lady finaly notices i'm there. what does she get paid for again? well she types in the information into her little computer. "that will be 75 dollars sir." i'm thinkin in my lil head it's just a piece of plastic it's connected by 3 screws and isn't even electrical and you want 75 for it. i can add a cold air intake for 75 dollars.

so my question for yall is....where can i get this part cheaper? no junk yards in like a 100 mile radius have a 240 and i want my sunroof to work. :spam

post in the b/s/t forum. someone might be parting out a roofed 240.

i feel your pain too. the convertables have these nissan logos on the b-pillars (the b-pillar is part of the door and the seatbelt is attached there) I'm missing one of those logos and went to Nissan to get a replacement. they wanted 70 bucks for them. I'm currently devising a way to make my own, probably put silvia or nismo on it instead.

Online dealers. They're usually cheaper than your local dealer and it makes more sense to buy from them since your local dealer will most likely have to order the part for you.

I just looked up the handle price and came up with $37.19 for it.

yeah i did that too but it looked like on there that it would need more pieces. i wish they showed you like a real picture of the part and not just a diagram. 37.19 is still a lil steep for the part i'm lookin for under 20.

i think they grab pics off the FSM's, so we're less likely to get real pics. I would suggest posting in the b/s/t forum about it if price is your biggest concern. For a convertable owner, the wholesale pages like everythingnissan is a boon for me because it's still cheaper for me to order parts through them than the dealership. my interior door panels will run me $900 from nissan, but they cost me $630 at everything nissan. Thankfully, I have a cousin who works for a company that makes interior door panels for nissan and honda, so I may be able to get a hookup for myself there when needed

Damn, the junkyard near my house has FIVE 240's in it but they're all SOHC models (sucks because I need a new gauge cluster). If I swing by this week, like tomorrow, I'll check it out for you.

I have mannual pieces including latch and glass, headliner also. I would imagine its what you need.

What do you need on the instrument cluster? I have one, good except for the temp gauge stopped working<no cruise>.
