I am so excited, my Tein HE coilovers over came today. :D I gotta wait until I get out of work to install them, then get an alignment tomorrow. I'll let everyone know what I think of them on the streets and that. What does everyone set the damper on when driving on the streets with these?

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought the dudes in black helicopters were about to take you away.

Good thing it was just a set of coilovers...

The installation wasn't bad at all, except getting the car level was a bit**. I gotta stiffen up the struts though, cause the cars a little bouncy. You can definately feel imperfections in the road.

Nope, I was expecting it and they'll be awesome once I get them dialed in to my likings.

You need to run the HE's on full hard for the first week. Thats how you break them in.

Well I've had the Teins on for a few days, and what can I say about them, other than they are awesome. The car handles even better than it did before. They were easy to install and only took me about 2-3 hours from start to finish. They are very bearable on the street. Right now I have them set on position 6, and it's fine on mostly all roads. Rough city streets will make you bounce a little, but oh well. I got them from phase2motortrend for 1300 shipped to NY. I would recommend these to anyone.

Hey silvialuvr. The overall ride isn't bad considering the stiffness in the suspension now. On main roads(has a center line), the ride is very good but you do feel bumps. On back roads(no lines), it's a little rough and you bounce quite a bit. My gf complains about it, but I dont' really mind that much. I have the dampers set on 6, so they can go softer or a lot harder. The handling in the car now is amazing and I'm happy I went with this setup.
