I thought the DSM ones were too tall? I could be wrong. I got CA specific ones from NISMO in japan.

DSM ones are the same size. just the top part that slides into the rail is taller and the bottom part with the little plastic coating is shorter. it all even out. i'm just concerned about the top of the dsm injector being too short and the fuel spray hitting the inside of the port walls instead of spraying directly into the air flow.

those are what i bought.

The height is the same but....

the diameter of the top of the injector is slightly bigger, i mean by like 2/1000 of an inch. so the o ring wont fit inside the fuel rail. so i just drilled out the fuel raul ro the correct size and put a little silicone lube on the rubbers and they slipped right in

i heard if you take the o-rings off the DSM injectors and put on the ones from your ca18det then they fit in fine. that's just what i hear. i didn't try. i think i actually cross threaded the fuel rail bolt holes in my intake mani trying to force those things in.

well it was the actual injector that wouldnt fit in the rail, meaning the metal above the o-ring was to big in diameter. Either way it was not a big job to drill out the holes. Just make sure that you get all the shavings out of the rail or else you might clog an injector and lean out a cylinder.

Understood. *off topic* How difficult is it to install a safc? Not safc 2.
