If anyone cares to know the thermoswitch for the Q will work in the Z. All that is needed is an adapter to mate the switch to the coolant drain in the radiator.

I checked the switch and it has 2 stages. First one makes contace at 190 and the second is well above 200, thermometer limit. The blue wire is the 190 stage and that along with a ground to the black wire will give you a switch to run to the radiator fan relay to activate the fans.
