I have a 94 vh45de and was wondering if a thermostat for a vg30 / rb would fit?
Here is the link for the one that I was looking at getting. I need one asap as my I am trying to fix my over heating problem.

Thanks to anyone who responds.

nope... the VH uses a HUGE 2.5" diameter thermostat.. just buy an OEM nissan one, its under 30 bucks, and it keeps the VH at its designed operating temperature.

I bought a brand new oem stat, and drilled a 1/4" hole where the bleeder jiggle valve was, topped it off with coolant, and squeezed the bottom hose to push any extra air out of the coolant galleys, i can hand bleed the engine in 5 seconds..

i'm running a 12" x 18" dual pass dual core tucked radiator, and i have had ZERO overheating problems. (over all dimensions is like 12"x24") this is in a S13 btw, not a Q45.

Yeah that's definitely one of the nice thing about the VH with the coolant fill being the highest point, makes filling everything and bleeding a snap..
