your talking about the one that goes to the cluster?thomasjamal wrote:So I was about to replace the thermostat on my KA24DE because the motor (just installed) is switching back and forth between running hot with heat and running cool with no heat, making me think the thermostat is sticking one way or the other.
When I took off my thermostat I noticed that it looked different than the one I had to replace it with. The new thermostat I have is a genuine Nissan thermostat, but it has two different part numbers on the box. One is for the KA24DE and the other is for the KA24E. How can I tell which one I actually have? Since it's clearly different than the one that was in the car (an aftermarket one) I'm hesitant to just install it without knowing for sure.
Let me know if there's a way to know for sure. The only things written on the actual thermostat are Nissan 76.5C and 99 2.
I'll post a pic of it in a sec.

Ha so I have a really old new thermostat, but it should be correct.Woods Crasher wrote:Hello. That is correct thermostat. 21200-53j00 is a really old part number. It's been superseded to 21200-0c811. Nissan uses that thermostat for a lot of cars
