okay so heres my prob, i helped my dad fix my 95 240sx , the guy they owned it b4 me totaly ruined the motor,so we did what we could, but we kept havin probs wiht it over heating, so we took the thermostat out and it worked fine, so we bought a new theromstat (sam brand) and it over heated, so we bought a better more expensive thermostat, and it worked, but i drove it for about 3 hours straight it and start over heating, so by then i was far from his house (i was driving from new mexico to cali)and so we jus took it out and i drove it home prob free and ti is still staying cool.so is there somthign im missing? why couldnt she hold down her thermostats???anyone know?thanks

probably had a air bubble in the system. KA24DE are a pain when it comes to bleeding the cooling system. Keep trying to bleed the cooling stem with the bleeder screw and you may have to keep squeeze the top radiator hose to get out some of the air bubbles. Also wrong section you may get a better response in teh online mechanic section. Hope everything works out.
